WV LifeSavers is a strikeforce composed of individual officers from more than 175 West Virginia agencies, who in the course of their routine duties, place special emphasis on enforcement of occupant-protection and DUI laws of the state.
Nearly 1,800 LifeSavers from WV State Police, Sheriff Departments, Municipal Police Agencies and the Traffic Division of the Public Service Commission work on aggressive enforcement on West Virginia highways and streets.

WV LifeSaver members take great pride in their accomplishments which ranks them as the best seatbelt/DUI enforcement officers in the state."
This organization is devoted to the recognition of the untiring efforts of these "lifesaving" officers."
